History

ZammatteTimber was originally purchased by the Hill family in the 1920’s, producing primarily agricultural crops on a few hundred hectares. In 1959, current shareholder Romano Michele took the reigns and expanded into Forestry and Sawmilling.

Our Timber Process

ZammatteTimber uses approved forestry practices, protects young growth as much as possible and only logs when ground conditions are fit.
